Question custom report
What's the best way to make an alternative custom race report, which includes just a plot of course profile, power output and heart rate, with rider name, date and course name, on one graph ? I (almost) always need a print-out of this information for each workout, so it would be useful to automate it as much as possible.

RE: custom report
Hi Welt,
Sorry about the slow response. My web hosting knocked out my forum for a couple of days.

Within the Data folder under where you have PerfPRO installed there are several XSL files, which are used to create the reports. Any one of these reports that's close to what you want can be copied then updated. You just don't want to update the original file since PerfPRO upgrades ovewrite these files.

For what you're asking probably the RaceReport.xsl file is the one to copy and update. Attached is a small update you can use. Unfortunately I discovered a bug that's been addressed in the next release that's causing problems when trying to change the report names within Options. For now this is what you can do:

- Go into the PerfPRO Data folder and make a copy of the file called "RaceReport.xsl". This folder is normally located in C:\Program Files\PerformancePRO\Data

- Copy the attached ZIP file called "WeltRaceReport.zip" to some folder.

- Extract the XSL file within that ZIP and copy it to the same Data folder.

- Now rename the "WeltRaceReport.xsl" file to "RaceReport.xsl".

- You can now create a race report on any one of your performances, which is a stripped down version of the original.

If you want to go back then simply delete the RaceReport.xsl then rename the original file back to RaceReport.xsl

Hope that helps and it's not too techy-confusing,
Drew.

RE: custom report
that's great, thanks Drew - I've had a go at editing RaceReoprt.xsl, and the reports are all still working fine Wink
